‘Our true self, our true mind, is always open to see another being, and when such a being comes to face you, you completely open and accept. At this point, all sorts of ego-centered, self-centered thoughts in your mind protect true mind. Sea creatures have shells, birds have wings, what is carried by both is the same life. We suffer the clash of ego-centered ideas between people, and we enjoy it too, but our central concern is to find another existence to meet without any hindrance. This is the will of ego-centered samadhi, between you and others. Wiping away hindrances, you meet with such existences. Finally, you discover that the one you really wanted to see, to meet with, was yourself.’ (Embracing Mind)
